Bahrain National Life Assurance (bnl) paid out a record of various Life Assurance claims since the outbreak of the pandemic in 2020, totaling to $4.1 million (BD1.5 million); supporting the families of 110 of its policyholders.
In addition to paying claims for Covid-19 customers dealing with the long-term effects of the pandemic, bnl along with its parent company Bahrain National Holding (BNH) also extended their support to The National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19) back in 2020 in their continuous efforts in fighting the virus and limit its spread.
The General Manager at bnl, Mrs. Enas Asiri, commented: “Despite 2020 and 2021 being unpredictable and challenging years, we have been committed to delivering our promise through paying claims promptly and supporting our customers, as we recognize that no one will have been affected by the pandemic more than the families of those who have tragically died due to Covid. While no amount of money can ever replace a life, insurers have and will continue to do everything they possibly can to help families cope financially through these distressing times.”
