The Ministry of Youth and Sport Affairs has signed a cooperation agreement with Bahrain National Life Assurance Company to launch the “bnl Fit for Life” program, which aims to create a social responsibility between government sector and the private sector in order to develop the capabilities and skills of Bahraini youth in the field of fitness and health.
The agreement was signed by the Ministry of Youth and Sport Affairs, H.E. Mr. Ayman Bin Tawfiq al-Moayyad, Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs, and by Bahrain National Life Assurance Company Mr. AbdulRahman Mohammed Juma, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Life Insurance Company.
The agreement states that “bnl Fit for Life” program provides an international accredited professional certificate that contributes to preparing youth to incubate a healthy lifestyle and encourages them to get involved in the sports industry. The program is targeting the age group of 20-35 years of both genders and participants will receive a professional theoretical and practical curriculum to enable them to professionalize sport as a profession in the future.
“We are proud to partner with Bahrain National Life Assurance Company in an advanced step that is in line with the ministry’s strategy to build a community partnership with the private sectors in the kingdom to provide a package of programs that contribute to develop youth skills and abilities, and pave the way for them to lead the future of the Kingdom in the field of sport,” said H.E. The Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Life Asassurance Company pointed out that “the agreement with the Ministry of Youth and Sport Affairs comes as a confirmation of the company’s vision to support the youth sector in the Kingdom and commitment of responsibility towards Bahraini youth, hoping that the agreement will contribute to motivating the kingdom’s
youth to excel and work hard towards achieving their ambitions and hopes for the future.”
The signing of the agreement was attended by a number of officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and Bahrain National Insurance Company.
