In case an insured life becomes partially and permanently disabled as a result of accident or sickness, this benefit pays a percentage of the sum insured as per the Policy Schedule.

In case an insured life becomes totally disabled as a result of an accident or sickness, this benefit pays a 100% of the Insured Member’s weekly pre-disability earnings for as long as such disability continues, subject to such payment limited to no more than 52 consecutive weeks. Payments shall commence 1 week after the date an accident or sickness occurs. No payment will be made retrospectively in respect of this period.
